PI Day

Pi Day is an annual celebration of the mathematical constant π. Pi Day is observed on March 14 since 3, 1, and 4 are the first three significant digits of π. It's also an excuse to eat some pie!

What to expect on PI Day 

Scholars from all over attend Pi Day to engage in fun circular math activities. All activities are rooted in math, focusing on all things circular and the constant pi. Activities include but are not limited to; Pi Memorization Contest, Pi Eating Contest, Pi Toss, Pi Decorating, skip roping, 3-legged races and much more. Every scholar is awarded a certificate of participation to present to their math teachers for possible extra credit.
